Watching you sleep
Feels like a calm summer night
The full moon cradling the surface of the ocean
Dancing to its own reflection
Beaming with pride
Because it knows on it alone
This calm night sky relys’
So lost in admiration
I listen to you breathe
And wonder what you’re dreaming
Candy canes and bubble gum
Splashing in a rain puddle
Or just play yard fun
I brush a curl from you face
So I can truly admire the beauty of Gods grace
I trace your nose with my finger and smile
Because having you, is my greatest gift
And you have truly made this life Worthwhile
